Bandits Attack Kaduna Villages, Displace 2, 000 Villagers

Armed bandits have allegedly invaded 17 villages in Igabi local government, , causing 2, 000 villagers to flee and take refuge in a primary school.

The displaced villagers are currently taking refuge at Ba primary school located along the KadunaZaria road amidst tight security.

The bandits were said to have killed three vigilante members who went into the forest to confront them.

According to reports, a senior police officer said the security personnel are on the trail of the gunmen

The team of policemen, including mobile policemen, are trailing the bandits and at the same time fortifying security around the area so that people will have the confidence to return to their settlements,” he said.
