Bolt (Taxify): Nigerians Call Out Mobile App Over Recurring Credit Card Debits

Nigerians are unhappy about their credit cards being debited and took to to call out mobile app company ().

Some of them complained about the debits occurring in quick succession, while others said they were charged more than once for a single trip they made.

Bolt Nigeria responded by saying that they do not store credit card data and that their payments partner or bank was possibly having issues. They then stated that they were working with payment processors to investigate the causes of the debits.
