INEC Announces Official Result of Osun State election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared the which was conducted on Saturday, September 22, 2018 inclusive.

INEC Returning Officer, Joseph Afuwape, made the official announced on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at around 2pm and the rerun election is slated for Thursday, September 17, at the affected seven polling units were elections were cancelled. According to the 1999 constitution, the winner (of this election) must have not less than one-quarter of the votes in at least two-thirds of all the local government areas of the state.
