President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, September 28, 2016 presided over the Federal Executive Council as Nigeria continues to face recession with citizens coming up with various opinions on possible solutions to the challenges.

As the current hardship continues to bite harder, the National Assembly, on September 22, declared it was important that President Muhammadu Buhari addresses a joint session of the legislature to outline plans to pull Nigeria out of recession.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had also declared a three-days fasting and prayers for the country for God to help resolve the hardship being faced by the citizens.
