It was another battle in the Champions League Round of 16, Game 2 between Leicester City and Sevilla at King Power Stadium as the the former was able to secure a 3 – 2 aggregate win with the 2 – 0 scoreline on Tuesday, March 14.
It took the hosts just 27 minutes to take the 1-0 lead and make it 2-2 on aggregate. It was Wes Morgan, the captain, who finished a free kick from Riyad Mahrez at the back post, getting a leg on the ball with Gabriel Mercardo marking him. The goal gave the team the overall advantage having scored an away goal in the first leg.
Marc Albrighton then made it 2-0 to Leicester just after the hour mark with a delightful trap and finish inside the box after a poor clearance from the Sevilla defense.
