The Lyon Family are still taking time to establish as Lucious took a swift move out of Empire in the previous episode.
Cookie has this property that she’s contemplating on selling off to revive Empire but Lucious self-sufficiency and self-appraisal won’t let her. She had to change her mind the moment she saw him talked down Becky in his own loyalty term.
Lucious while on the floor, still accords the success of the fallen Empire to himself. He still not feels the need to appreciate and give props to what others bring to the table. This apparently is Cookie’s contention as to why she withdrew her financial help to revive Empire.
Hakeem finally had an itch-free performance since the gun incident, thanks to Jamal for making him believe in himself and putting him on that track.
Lucious finds Thirsty, Cookie brings her sisters Candice and Carol on board and of course, her work-muse, Porsha. The starting the new Empire.
