The first North London Derby of the season didn’t fail to deliver.
Tottenham traveled to the Emirates Stadium looking to get one over on their fierce rivals and win the first three points since the opening day victory over Aston Villa.
The game couldn’t have started better for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, with Christian Eriksen benefiting from a parry by Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno to score from close range in just the 10th minute. Spurs doubled their lead five minutes before half time, Harry Kane dispatching the penalty after Granit Xhaka’s unexplainable tackle on Son Heung-min.
But, Arsenal went in at half time having halved the deficit thanks to Alexandre Lacazette. The Gunners completed the comeback in the second half when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found a way past Hugo Lloris.
