MI Abaga Nigerian rapper

Following the release of his “Yung Denzel” album, Nigerian hip-hop artist, M.I Abaga has reiterated the statement that described him as the best rapper in Africa.

In a recent chat with PUNCH Sunday Scoop, M.I also made reference to how Wizkid always refers to him many times as the best rapper in Africa.

Nevertheless, The rapper admitted he can’t continue to be the best.

M.I said:

“Nasty C is taking rap music to another level right now; he is doing a great job. I cannot count how many times Wizkid has called me the biggest rapper in Africa. It is unwise to want to be called the best all the time. I think my focus now is always to do my best, not to be the best. I am a big fan of Nasty C and I appreciate everything he does.

“Since I called out Nigerian rappers to fix up their lives, I have seen changes. I believe that we have great and talented rappers in Nigeria; I was just trying to wake them up from their slumber.”

, alongside A-Q, Loose Kaynon and Blaqbonez (all Nigerian rapper), had started an August movement they tagged where three albums would be released to restore the Nigerian hip-hop.

Crown, A-Q and Loose Kaynon‘s album had dropped on August 13 and was preceded by MI Abaga‘s Yung Denzel; “Bad Boy Blaq” by Blaqbonez is expected to drop on August 31
