Interested Candidates Can Still Register For UTME 2017 – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (), has further extended registration for candidates that are still interested in writing the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede comfirmed this in his statement during his visit to a CBT centre in Lagos.

He said he got a mandate from the Senate few weeks ago to increase the UTME registration period by one month, which would lapse on May 28 when the board will finally close its registration portal.

“As I speak, we have registered additional 1,100 candidates,” he said.

Recall that Oloyede had said that out of the 1,648,429 candidates writing the ongoing UTME, the results of 1,048,914 have been released.

The Registrar also said the candidates have not done badly going by the results released so far, and said that fingerprints may no longer be required in subsequent UTME registrations.
