The (EFCC), has apprehended 25 students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomosho, for their participation in internet fraud.

The students, whose ages range from 18 to 29, were picked up by EFCC operatives for engaging in cybercrimes like love scams, false pretense, and obtaining money through false means.

The arrest is further proof of the EFCC’s renewed zeal in their quest to stamp out internet fraud in the country and the crackdown on lately has been a joint effort between them and the Federal Bureau of Investigation ().
