English League side, Manchester United, have completed the signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City in a £80 million six-year contract deal. It comes with an option of an additional year at Old Trafford.
Last season saw the Red Devils finish off in the sixth position and they look poised to improve on that lacklustre performance with the acquisition of the English Centre back.
The Club manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, praised the 26-year-old player: ‘Harry is one of the best centre backs in the game today and I am delighted we have secured his signature. He is a great reader of the game and has a strong presence on the pitch, with the ability to remain calm under pressure …’
Harry Maguire started his soccer career by playing for Sheffield United in 2011, where he was their Player of the Year for three consecutive times. He transferred to Hull City in 2014 and later joined Leicester City in 2017.
