Pastor Timothy Omotosho

A Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotosho, who is facing charges which include rape, human trafficking, and racketeering is expected to return to a South African court in Port Elizabeth today.

The case was adjourned earlier this month due to Omotosho’s application to the Supreme Court of Appeal and the court will give its verdict today.

The accused, along with two others, had allegedly lured young girls to his church in Durban. He is facing a 90-count charge.

Omotosho was arrested at the Port Elizabeth International Airport in 2017 and is yet to take a plea. He is the senior pastor of Jesus Dominion International in Durban and is currently behind bars.
