#SexForGrades: UNILAG Punishes Erring Lecturer With Indefinite Suspension

The has suspended Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu whose involvement in the sexual harassment scandal in the school has gone viral.

The lecturer (who is also a Pastor in the ) was captured in a video footage sexually harassing an undercover journalist pretending to be a secondary school leaver looking for admission in the university.

The news of the suspension was confirmed by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, in an interview with Premium Times on Monday, October 7, 2019.

The Vice-Chancellor also disclosed that a panel would be set up to investigate the case.

Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu is a former sub-dean of the Faculty of Arts and the swift disciplinary action given to him by the institution is an assertion of its zero tolerance for such vices.
