Soundcity MVP Awards 2017 winners

Reactions have trailed the much anticipated MVP Awards that took place at Eko Hotel & Suites on the 12th of this month.

The awards was well organized at much more better than the system of some other awards programs but ‘Cheating’ was smelt.

On my own angle, I don’t have much too talk about but just on two categories that I feel it was swindled.

‘Best Male MVP’

This category sparked up debates when Diamond Platnumz was announced the winner of the category in which a picture was put up to clarify. Diamond had 29% of the votes, Wizkid was next with 20%. Which obviously will never be. Let’s be honest.

Note : because a voting poll is open for public view after voting does not mean it can’t be tweaked. Just know that.

Best Group Or Duo

Soundcity played a fast one on this too. Announcing Destruction Boyz from South Africa as the winner edging R2bees, Sauti Sol, Mi Casa and more to it.

Few days to the awards with 4,573 votes on this category. R2bees had 48% percent of the votes, Sauti Sol and VVIP locked on – 10%.

The winner Destruction Boyz had just 2% of the votes. Then how did the votes ran up so fast?

It’s gone. But things should not be this way!.
