Security has been tightened around the Federal High Court in Abuja today ahead of #RevolutionNow mastermind Omoyele Sowore’s appearance today.
Sowore is on trial for treasonable felony, alongside Olawele Bakare.
News sources confirm that Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and Armed Policemen have taken up positions within and outside the court premises. A police water cannon truck has also been stationed in front of the court.
DSS Agents have barred journalists from filming Sowore in the courtroom, with threats of arrests if they disobey the order.
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu is expected to make a ruling today regarding the application filed on September 30 by Sowore’s lawyer, Olumide Fusika, following the order by the Judge to file a formal application.
