The 2019 edition of the MTV Video Music Awards (a.k.a. VMAs) will make its debut at 8 pm on Monday, August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark.

The event will include a performance by the Jonas Brothers, who recently got the band back together. ‘Sucker’, a track from their comeback album, was a hit, getting close to 200 million views on YouTube.

As for the awards, Taylor Swift and lead the pack with 10 nominations each. Comedian and actor, Sebastian Maniscalco, will be the host.

The MTV Video Music Awards will be remembered for notable moments like Britney Spears performing with a huge yellow snake and interrupting Taylor Swift’s moment.
