Wizkid Sounds From The Other Side album artwork

Wizkid’s SFTOS became the most anticipated album of the year the moment he hinted dropping the body of works. As the title implies, Wizkid after crossing the border to penetrate the international market, decided to work out an album that would be of international standard. Of course, his deal with Sony Music gave him the opportunity he needed. His Starboy Worldwide movement became proclaimed across the shores of Africa.

Come Closer ft. Drake is the heaviest track on the album. Although, it generated some sort of controversy as Drizzy failed to appear in the two videos Wizkid made for the song. At the end, Nigerians and the whole of Africa were glad that the Afro-pop sound is now a global sound. Other popular tracks on the album include African Bad Gyal ft. Chris Brown, Gbese ft. The 17-track album is a complete work of artistry for Falz who can be regarded as the most successful rapper in 2017. La Fete, Child Of The World, Something Light and few others number among major hip hop hit songs of the year.

– For You

Cobhams For You Album

This should be rated the most vital album of the year owing to the fact that Cobhams never had one to his credit until the release of “For You”. Apparently, the pure gospel album is worth the wait as it comes with classical sounds and soulful songs. Ordinary People, For You, Highly Lifted ft. Aaron Lindsey, No One ft. among others are awesome tracks that would take over one’s consciousness anything. The soul album must be the best gift of the year from Cobhams
